Celebrating Women's Equality Day, 2014 — The White House

The White House

Celebrating Women's Equality Day, 2014

This is a really nice presentation.  Thanks to Valerie Jarrett.

I may not support the Affordable Care Act (ObamaCare — except for some provisions, set in a different context); and I haven’t looked at the specific individuals that may be mentioned (I’d likely support many of them, where mentioned).  I’m not in an analytical mode here though.  This is to celebrate hard work and the dynamic of women.  I can be analytical in a “to notice”-type theoretical and active parallel and perpendicular, on women’s thoughts and meaning.

The essay is really well done.  I can’t emphasize that enough.

My theory on this is: “Round.  Rectangular.  Circular.  Perpendicular.  Particular!” — a hip hop tune I heard in a bar in NYC during the late 1990s.  I don’t know the title or artists.

I have archived a PDF of Jarrett’s essay (the web page) here: Celebrating Women's Equality Day, 2014 | The White House.pdf

Further Background (On My Own Stance)

I’ll be interested in feminist theory, and what it is, and the types thereof; the humanist expression, and the religious; the alone, and the engaged with society.

The male and the female.
