More HHS — A Couple Of Dilemmas
"I'm not sure what kind of reality they're living in."

I noted this page, from the prominent link on the home page www.healthcare.gov, under the heading "It's a new day for women under the Affordable Care Act":
Services to Keep
Women Healthy
It's a new day for women under the Affordable Care Act:
Eight prevention-related health services will be covered without cost sharing in new health plans starting August 1, 2012. These changes will help lower costs and improve the health and well being of millions of women.
The link prevention-related health services leads to: http://www.hhs.gov/news/press/2012pres/07/20120731a.html.

At the page “Health care law gives women control over their care, offers free preventive services to 47 million women”, I noticed one item in the document: "certain nonprofit religious organizations, such as churches and schools, are not required to cover these services". What about a for-profit religious organization? Also, it says, "certain" non-profit (religious) organizations.
[...and it’s people who run corporations. Corporations are entities.]
Actually, it occurs to me that there is a more "overview" picture here. Note the types of "activities" promoted by the web page. The title of the web page, this document, is "Health care law gives women control over their care, offers free preventive services to 47 million women". That's the title, anyway. This time, it says, the 5th paragraph:
The eight new prevention-related services are:
• Well-woman visits.
• Gestational diabetes screening that helps protect pregnant women from one of the most serious pregnancy-related diseases.
• Domestic and interpersonal violence screening and counseling.
• FDA-approved contraceptive methods, and contraceptive education and counseling.
• Breastfeeding support, supplies, and counseling.
• HPV DNA testing, for women 30 or older.
• Sexually transmitted infections counseling for sexually-active women.
• HIV screening and counseling for sexually-active women.
"I'm not sure what kind of reality they're living in."
There are likely other points of concern in the document.
[ If you need one of these tests, by all means. But to set this as a matter of routine is another story. ]
